The Center for Regional Strategy and Global Affairs (CRSGA) is a forward-looking, University of Lahore based strategic policy and research platform dedicated to advancing informed understanding of the evolving global order. It is established as an interdisciplinary hub where academic rigor, policy relevance, and leadership development converge to address the complex challenges shaping contemporary geopolitics, regional dynamics, and global governance.
CRSGA is built on the recognition that the nature of power, security, and development is undergoing profound transformation. Traditional frameworks of analysis are no longer sufficient to understand the interplay between geopolitics, economics, technology, and societal change. As such, the Center adopts an integrated approach bringing together multiple domains of strategic inquiry under a unified institutional framework.
The Center aims to serve as a platform for scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and emerging leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue, produce high-quality research, and contribute to shaping policy discourse at national, regional, and global levels.

Pakistan occupies a uniquely significant position within the evolving global landscape. Located at the crossroads of South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East, it is directly influenced by regional dynamics while also playing an active role in shaping them. Major power competition is intensifying, regional conflicts continue to reshape alliances, and technological advancements — particularly in artificial intelligence — are redefining the nature of power and governance.
In this context, there is a critical need for institutions that can provide independent, research-driven strategic analysis; facilitate dialogue between academia and policy communities; address emerging domains such as technology governance; and develop a new generation of informed and capable leaders.
